JRTM is J. Robert Trademark; a visual arts sole proprietorship named after it’s founder artist, Jeff Scribner’s middle name, Robert; after his Maternal Grandfather Robert Arthur Butcher b. 1927 d. 2009 (82 years). Jeff specializes traditional art disciplines, i.e., acrylics, sketching, illustration as well as those in the contemporary arts, i.e., photography and graphic design. Jeff also offers public and private art instruction and demonstrations in both the traditional and contemporary arts using a select number of art mediums and techniques.

Artist Background
Ansel Adams once said, “you don’t take a photograph, you make a photograph,” and Henry David Thoreau is quoted as saying, ”This world is but a canvas to our [the] imagination.”
Jeff is local artist who creates semi-abstract and abstract one of one, original acrylic paintings on canvas; and shoots and post processes original digital photography. Jeff’s unique approach and application of line, shape, color and texture into his works are similar to Andy Warhol, M.C. Escher, Bob Ross, Piet Mondrian, Vincent Van Gogh, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Walt Disney; with strong photographic influences from Ansel Adams and Alfred Stieglitz.
Unofficially Jeff began branding and marketing his visual art under his J. Robert Design mark in 2011, and rebranded in 2021 as J. Robert Trademark JRTM in Eubank, Kentucky in the United States in North America.
